Norman David is a veteran composer, arranger, clarinetist and saxophonist, having performed extensively in North America and Europe for over three decades. He is currently a member of the composition and theory departments at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and Artist-in-Residence at Temple University where he teaches jazz composition and arranging, business of music, and conducts ensembles. From 2004-08, he was on the music faculty at the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts, where he directed and taught the Woodwinds Studio. He maintains openings for private studies in arranging, composition, clarinet, saxophone—or combinations thereof.

• Composition and arranging lessons can be oriented toward jazz or modern classical techniques, or a combination of both.

• Clarinet and saxophone lessons can include:
(1) Instruction/Coaching of Classical and New Repertoires;
(2) Technique/Reading/Interpretation Studies;
(3) Jazz: Performance/Theory/Repertoire;
(4) Preparation/Coaching for Auditions to college, university, or conservatory music programs (classical or jazz).
